For a product to obtain COSMEBIO certification, it must meet strict specifications , assessed by an independent body. Here are the key points:

No controversial ingredients: no parabens, phenoxyethanol, silicones, PEG, synthetic dyes
2. A gentle transformation
Manufacturing processes must respect the environment and ingredients :

Packaging must be recyclable or recycled , and limited to what is strictly necessary.
4. Total transparency
All certified products must clearly display the INCI list and the COSMEBIO logo .
